We acknowledge that we are on the unceded traditional territory of the Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqiyik peoples, guardians of these lands and the Petitcodiac River since time immemorial. We honour their tradition of hospitality and commitment to passing on Indigenous knowledge and values. We reaffirm treaty rights and support the self-determination and sovereignty of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit. Recognizing past injustices, we believe truth, reconciliation, and Indigenous knowledge are key to a more just future. In this spirit, we invite you to reflect on the land you live on and how you can honour this acknowledgment.

Founded in 2002 by DansEncorps, the Atlantic Dance Festival, now in its 19th edition, is a flagship event that celebrates the diversity of choreographic styles and cultures. Held annually in August, it provides an essential platform for professional dance artists in a context where multidisciplinary presenters are rare in Eastern Canada.

With a diverse program including performances, workshops, and meetups, the festival attracts over 2,000 spectators per edition, reaching up to 12,000 people through collaborations with events such as Acadie Rock and le Congrès mondial acadien.

The festival promotes accessibility and inclusion, while developing audiences and encouraging creation.
